Problem understanding Looksmart model

Every domain costs a $49 setup fee?

I've always thought there were three main sizes: small, medium, and large. Looksmart consolidated the small and medium to leave only two genres.

I manage a small handful of local niche websites. I have a love/hate relationship with overture. I love the fact that I can have 15 different URLs all managed by the same account. So, I am at Looksmart and it seems I can't do that. To have multiple domains I have to spend $2,500 per month - which simply isn't possible. The alternative is to pay a $49 set up fee for each URL - also ridiculous. Isn't there a happy medium over there or are they just a bunch of jerks?

You can submit one page from each domain to the small business listings program.

skibum, is correct if you are working with separate domains. However, recently LS made a change that allows up to five url's within one domain. But I don't know if that yet applies to accounts that have multiple domains listed.

Looks like the site still says one per site [looklistings.looksmart.com] (acutally one per business) unless ya wanna go for $2500.00/month

Yes, it was by an email invitation, about 2 months back. Since then, I've seen so many people posting about it, that I assumed it was now available. I'll see what I can find out. I know someone there that actually answers email, I'll get back to you. Here was the offer,

Thanks unreviewed. Seems like that would be a good move for them and people interested in using their service, and possibly making the jump to the larger programs. It would help to be able to get a response to inquiries from someone there.

So... there you have it. It is not yet available to the general public. I hope it is soon. It made a very large difference to my account.
