Having just tried out for Overtures PPC in Germany I was surprised to find that @0.10 euro I could be #1 instead of $3.46 in the US.
Am I missing something, or am I just ahead of the pack?
Mind you , i have not been accepted yet !

True, generally bids are cheap compared to the US. Even for highly competitive terms it's rare to find bids higher than 1 Euro (~$1).
You might also want to try Espotting - they have very good reach throughout Europe. Bid prices are similar to OV.

You're right Heini! Espotting is a very good PPC for German market. I'm very satisfied with bot Overture and Espotting. Don't forget Google Adwords, it works good too if you target specifically for German users.

If the keyword you bought is in english for the german market, that may explain the reason for low cost of your word. Typically what I've seen is similar costs in Euroland as in US.

Fortunately/or unfortunately the keyword has many different variations of spelling and I was able to cover all bases for the European market.
In the past only relying on the US Google adwords & luck.
