Welcome arthurw

I'm sure you will get a list of quality traffic providers.

Profitable PPC is another matter.
Take the time to read back threads here to get the entire picture.

I believe that the only one really worth using at the moment is Overture. Yes it can be fairly expensive if your keywords are competitive, but if you are in the top 3 you will be at the top of the listings on Yahoo,MSN,Lycos, and Alta Vista.

I find Google Adwords to be the most productive PPC source in my mix.

I don't use Overture anymore except for a few grandfathered penny listings. They're simply toooooo frustrating to work with.

FindWhat used to be one of my favorites, but the quality of their traffic has declined noticeably over the past year. These days I consider 7Search the best player on my "B team".

In July we submitted 125 on target KWs to
adwords, FindWhat, ah-ha and Overturn on behalf of a $Billion Multinational Corp.

Accepted as follows:
adwords - 125
FindWhat - 125
ah-ha - 125
Overture - 22

Quote "adwords, FindWhat, ah-ha and OVERTURN on behalf of a $Billion Multinational Corp."

OVERTURN! LOL! How appropriate!

I have had bad experience with FindWhat in terms of keyword rejection. They generally shoot down 25 to 40% of my keywords

Findwhat has the very good customer service and keyword acceptance rate that I found. However, I will have to agree with the poor quality of traffic and conversion rate. The best I found for quality, keyword acceptance, amount of traffic etc. is google adwords select.

One big negative with Overture is lack of bulk keyword submission tools (I mean 1000s of keywords) unless you are too big I guess!.

First and most importantly:

Most PPC's do have traffic but not worth the time to submit, the only two that have o.k. for me have been:

Google and Overture
If your site is not laid out properly, you will lose money.
If your site is next to a site that is better, you will lose money.
If you pay for the wrong keywords, you will lose money.
Make sure to be in the first 3 spots.
Make sure to check how much you are spending every 24 hours until you are happy with your listings.

That is it.
