How is the Revenue with YPN compared to Adsense?

Just wondering from anybody currently trying the YPN beta test how revenue compares with adsense?

The click value is above Adsense, the targeting is a little off, so the clicks are less. Seems to be balancing out for me.

Couldn't get back in to change my last post.

When testing the Yahoo Publisher program I changed over about 1/2 of my adsense ads for the one site. Since yesterdays new Adwords change clicks for this site went to .01 ( other sites actually went up in value) I will change over the rest of my ads to Yahoo for this site to see what happens.

It'll be expected that YPN would do better comparing to AdSense for the low paying-eCPC sites (eCPC less than $0.05 in AdSense system). So be carefull in comparison.

That would be my guess as well. When Adsense started the epc was about .75 per click for me. It's now around .20. I think this was because as more and more people joined the program the higher paying clicks got spread out to others. I would see the same thing happening to Yahoo. The real test will be to see how it goes over the long haul.

I don't know about YPN, but Google pays around 50% to its publishers, I know it because, I tested it by advertising on my own website from adwords, I spent 2$ on site targeting in adwords on my own website, and guess what, I got 1.02 price in Adsense, so that proves that adsense pays you around 50%. I think that Yahoo is paying more than Adsense at this time, but I am not sure how much, as Yahoo also don't like to disclose this information.
I don't know Why don't they share this information with its publishers? We are doing business with them, and we have the right to know, what if one day they pay you 70% and other day they pay you 30%, who knows.

I'm testing YPN on one site and still have Adsense up on my other sites. YPN paid better as someone suggested earlier the first few days. After that I took notice that they had spread one or two ads in the ad spaces that originally had 3/4 ads. My ecpm and click through ratio both dropped in half. Same thing happened when Adsense began filling an ad block with just one or two ads. This is the reason I wanted to try YPN. As a publisher, I'd like to be able to opt out just as I have an option to block a url that doesn't fit my site. I'm hoping that both YPN and Adsense read this thread and perhaps make that an option. I am thankful to have the revenue and not here to gripe but to make an observation :)

I don't know what kind of revenue YPN'ers are getting, but they must be getting shed loads of clicks. I've just clicked on the same ad on a website three times by mistake. The clickable area around the ad meant that my cursor was nowhere near the actual ad text (I couldn't even see the ad as it was below the fold), yet the whitespace was linked to the ad. A 600px height banner with one little ad in the middle, and the whole thing clickable.

I'd be pretty brassed off if I was an advertiser paying for that.

We're seeing much better eCPM from from Yahoo with a limited test so far.

How would one go about making Overture take up the entire budge for the day and get more clicks, it is currently spending on average only half.
