So what did Yahoo change last night?

So Yahoo had an "update" from 6-9pm PST last night. They even posted a message that they would tell all of us what they did AFTER they made the change. No messages from Yahoo.

I was hoping they were improving the targeting of their Publisher ads.

Can anybody tell what changes they made? Hello... is anybody there?

We're seeing some fresh ads today; maybe that is the change. Our ads have always been targeted pretty well (it took awhile, though) but we get a lot of the same ads over and over. The new ads are also targeted so this is a welcome change, and I hope it continues. Our revenues are above average today.

I see a huge amount of totally blank ads- just white with nothing. Anyone else see this today?

I haven't seen blank spots today but have in the past. When I called YPN, they said it was a maintenance-related issue and would be fixed within an hour. It actually took several hours but the ads came back.

Our rev. is still down after the change, but am seeing different ads. Crate & barrel etc. type companies now.

I'm seeing some different ads. They're still totally off target though.

Perhaps they finally dumped some of the "Panama" ads on us.

I dont have all of Tuesday's stats yet, but the total daily Dollar amount showing is quite nice, in comparison to previous months...

Allow me to ask a question.
Surely by reading these threads you can see we're having trouble with the relevancy of the ads on our sites.

My question: When I go to Yahoo Search page and use my KWs, I see MANY relevant ads that show on your search page...HOWEVER, mostly irrelevant ads are showing on my site. Why is this?

Last year the ads on my site were right on target...beginning in 07 all that changed...

Would you please shed some light on this...is there a problem that is being worked on, OR is this going to be the norm?

If this is going to be the norm, there will be many disappointed publishers. We were all rooting for Yahoo success.

If we knew that Yahoo was aware of the problem and is working on it, we would be most appreciative.
Please give us some good news.
