Trying to figure this out

Is revenue down across the board or is it just us ...

This is not a complain thread by any means, I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed a significant drop in revenue over the past few days.

Ours is like night & day 75% drop even though traffic has increased. It has gradually been declining, but seems too strange.

- Targeting is still wishy washy, but we did fair enough with that before
- Clicks to YPN have actually increased through this rev drop.

Switched over to Google on some things, but just wondered if others are seeing this type of activity or if it is just a niche thing.

I have been using YPN since last November and I have always been extremely happy with the results compared to Adsense. That was before October came. By far the worse month I have ever had despite traffic being on course for other months. The final straw was yesterday when I made $2 when I have been use to making mid $XX . Crazy. I switched to Adsense and will stay that way for the rest of this month and will then try YPN again in November.

Why not use both? My site has YPN ads on pages that performed poorly with AdSense. They're not generating much revenue with YPN ads, but at least they're not making my site as much of a target for Google's SmartPricing.

My revenue has increased the past few days.

Revenue has dropped the last two days but our traffic has also dropped. CTR and payment per click have remained the same.

Our CPM has dropped almost 50% since 10/16.

My theory is that Yahoo has decided to keep more of the split after the poor earnings report.

It is still paying more than Adsense, however.
