YPN ad quality

Since the beginning of the YPN beta program:

--Do you see any improvement in the variety and quality of YPN advertisements and advertisers?
--Do you observe better ad targeting?

I've just switched a few more non-performing Adsense pages to YPN. But I still see generally the same old, tired YPN ads I've been seeing for months and months.

YPN can have the best publisher controls and spot-on ad targeting, but ultimately the program is only as good as its advertisers, and their advertisements. If YPN is not attracting quality advertisers in larger and larger numbers, is there any real hope for the program?

My primary site is a very niche market which YPN is serving better than Adsense ever did. So far YPN is paying out 4x what Adsense is. But Adsense definately has a better variety of ads, and even more important when you have multiple ad units on a page Adsense won't duplicate the same ad on each one like YPN does! Once YPN fixes this I hope to see an even greater increase in earnings.

Actually, AdSense does that too.

That's really unfortunate too. If I could get the same accuracy I could really be cleaning up here.

When we first started, we couldn't get YPN to target, either, and it was very frustrating. We re-designed pages so they were very specific, only covered one very narrow topic and had lots of fresh content. It seems to have done the trick.

Wait for 4th quarter and then decide. Its too early to discuss ad quality given the program is still in beta and the doldrums of summer are here.
