Ok, this is my first time saying that yahoo really rocks. Thanks for YPN. First time of day, i am getting my earnings double after switching a good performing site from AS to YPN.

And now, i am getting double the income. For a small publisher like me, it might not be worth mentioning the income, but really, i am very grateful for YPN.

Right now, the only thing i am worried is how much will yahoo deduct from my total amount at the end of the month because i haven't recevied any check from yahoo yet. I joined on NOV and expeting to receive the first check at the end of december.

Once again, I LOVE YAHOO.

I have been with YPN for three check periods and they have deducted $0 from my account each time. Don't worry about it unless you are trying to fool them somehow, like clicking on your own ads.

Nah. I am not that foolish enough to do that. Been a member here since last year. At least i read through many threads here about accounts being disabled.

So i guess it's all good. And yea, if this trend continues, i will certainly be grateful.

I too added YPN ads to my site over the weekend and racked up my share of $2 clicks from poorly targeted RON ads. Earnings in the first 3-hours nearly doubled my best AdSense day but they have cooled since then.

But re-read Y's Welcome to the Beta Test email: 1) Terms are net 45, 2) Minimum pay is $100, and perhaps worst, 3) Y will use the 45 days to allow 'proper review' of the clicks.

Sounds like a potential Chitika-style haircut to me, with a lonnng wait to see the extent. For me, I won't know my true earnings until (potentially) Feb 15, 2006! That's 70+ days of running YPN ads with no feedback on earnings.

From what I've read, most of the invalid clicks are removed from your balance by the next day. Oh and it seems that people have been getting paid on a NET 30 system the past two months...

When a rep. from Yahoo called me the other day, he was asking what I'd like to see in terms of the next stages of the beta, and he commented that nearly everybody has wanted the term to go from Net45 to Net30, so it seems if the demand is there by the publishers they'd move to something like that... again just speculation, but it'd sure be nice!

I don't know either from experience I joined YPN in October, so I'm expecting a check here fairly soon, if it all works out, YPN will be awesome.

I've noticed that the contextual targeting pretty much sucks, but you can move around the Targeting Categories to achieve the best results, if you can find the right category for your site, i've seen payouts near $10 a click, and I'm sure they are higher in niche categories...

YPN will not go through the Chitika fiasco by deducting extreme amounts from publishers' earnings. That would be very risky and create a negetive atmosphere for YPN which is trying to gain market share from Google. I am not worried about YPN taking such action. However expect 1 percent decrease or increase during the audit.

I have been with Yahoo since they started and am definitely a happy camper!

There are the day to day fluxes, but the income is always higher than our Adsense account (even though click thru rate is lower). I want to change all sites over to YPN, but am concerned about having all my eggs in one basket.

Checks have arrived around net 30 with the one exception of when it came EXACTLY on day 45 as they said (that was first pay out month).

Nothing but positives so far!

And yes, i admit that i make sites to make money. I do not care much about ads not being targetted or not. I am only concerned about the earnings at the end. Call me selfish or whatever but i am not one of those "good" webmasters who make websites solely for users.

And no, i do not make scraper sites, or how they wana call it. I am not that smart enough to create scraper sites. IMO, i believe those guys who make scraper sites are really smart.

I do not know why i say this. Maybe i haven't slept since last night. Still awake at this time and checking my ypn earnings. Why? Maybe i really need the money because i am movig over to another state soon and starting a new life. And that costs tons of money. I need money to survive there. The place is called los angeles.

Since seeing the audited amount in my Y account I've been moving over the remaining 50% of my pages to Y.

Funny thing is I feel guilty about doing it since G has allowed me to quit my job and live in a warm climate during this winter. Leaving next Tuesday for sunny FL :). Maybe I'll leave the G ad on the homepage as a memorial.

I left adsense on some back pages that don't get much traffic. The income generated is about 1.50 a day. I don't know why I did it. Just couldn't seem to make a complete break I guess...

I changed my site over to YPN on the first and have been blown away. Like others I am seeing a higher CPC, lower CTR and overall higher earnings. Higher to the tune of 75%. Great stuff!

I saw an initial spike (like 4x AS earnings) when I first added YPN to my site, then it started to fall off, up until the point when I was making zero a day... so what I did is do one day of AS one day of YPN, and both numbers seemed to come back up.

My CTR is lower with Yahoo, but with some testing, I found several pages that teh earnings are greater on. So, I removed my AdSense ads from those pages that Yahoo makes more on. It has worked out well.

I cannot get YPN to supply targeted ads to save my life. AdS ads are targeted dead-on, the minute a page goes up, but it's been days with YPN, and the ads showing still have absolutely nothing to do with any page's content. The site covers a popular topic, so there have to be advertisers for it, and the pages are full of specific content. So far, YPN is doing nothing for me.

I've had YPN on my site for over three months, targeting is never on.

Utilize the Target Category feature, its your only bet to get something remotely close to what you want.

I'd say one in every five hundred ads is contextually based on my site... the rest just fall in the general category that you define in the settings.

I'm not complaining though, CTR rate is acceptable, EPC is great... I'm a happy camper

I put YPN on my what had been best performing channel with Adsense.

Since I'd read numerous posts about YPN needing a few days to get targeting down I was prepared to wait it out. So far I'm still waiting, 6 days.

Normally only 1 of 5 ads in a block will really be on target.

Earnings are about the same as Adsense. So far hardly worth the effort other than to get established and comfortable with another network.

I just got accepted into the program and immediately put the javascript onto my pages. However, I'm just getting the blank color code, not even a public service announcement. The acceptance e-mail said it might take their bot one or two days to spider my site.

Can I just leave up Google's Adsense until the spidering is done, or do I need to leave the Yahoo code in place so it knows what pages to fetch?

I was playing around with the targeting like mad and on some small sites I just left it at default. Even with using the targeting catagories I was not having much luck and was reluctant to switch over the remainder of my small sites that are targeting perfectly using AS.

Then, a couple of days ago, I began to notice that some of my sites that I had left at default were targeting amazingly well. Refresh the page and the old RON ads are back, refresh again and the targeting is back. Not too sure how to read that, but I am pleased to see even my most uncommon niche sites targeting.

And, the payout is still stellar. Yes, I have .10 clicks, but I also have $20+ clicks. It runs hot and cold, but averages out well.
