Yahoo has made in my opinion a large mistake requiring business that use Yahoo business to be required to use Yext. If you have ever been on the receiving end of a Yext sales call they are terrible, using everything from threats to intimidation to get you to sign up. And if you do when you decide to quit paying for something you can do yourself, and even if they do it its a one time change for most companies, they threaten to put the listings back the way they were.

We specialize in small business some of the accounts we handle have lost their existing Yahoo pages and are now required to use Yext to claim them.

A quick study of our sites over the last year show no traffic coming from Yahoo, so anyone losing an account we are requiring it be removed.

As Yahoo tries to stay relevant in today's Internet it seems to be making one blunder after another, they defiantly are no friend to small business. I recommend to all of our customers to not use Yahoo services of any kind, the support is non existent, and now with this its even worse.

Yahoo has turned itself it to an advertising news company nothing more, I don't give them much more time before it goes the way of so many Icons of the past that don't understand small business accounts bring a great deal of traffic, maybe not as much money, but they are what keeps buying products from larger corporations.

I always liked Yahoo its a shame they chose this route, as many companies have, we eliminate any company from our customers portfolios, that require Yext to handle customer accounts.
