Good Softwares for Generating XML Sitemaps?

I wanted to generate an XML Sitemap file that I could then upload on my site and link through Google Webmaster Account.

I have previously used Sitemap builder which worked very well. However, since my system was formatted, I am having some trouble installing it. Are there any other similar options - simple to understand - that I can use to generate XML sitmaps.

I'm not sure of specific software packages. I use a WordPress plugin on the couple of sites that I care about providing a sitemap (they are both WP sites).

actually, do a Google search for "generate a google sitemap" and you'll find some free tools to do this.
