XSL doesn't display anything on MSIE, why?

XSL document written for Google Modules but doesn't display on MSIE

XSL file doesn't display (or transform) any XML on MSIE, why? XSL document is written for Google Modules but doesn't display correctly on MSIE. It works fine on Firefox.

When I tried to key in module.xsl into MSIE, it says it can't connect to such a file. Is this some sort of browser security? Doesn't make much sense to me

Does anybody know a work-around? I would have tried to include a link here if possible.
