No way to get my Gmail from Outlook

Guess is related to last win huge update

Here is my problem:
Win7 64 bit Outlook 2007
Try to set my gmail account as an IMAP
it is supposed to be:
imap.gmail.com port 993 TLS
smtp.gmail.com port 587 SSL

I know my G account and password are fine
not only I can not sync between Outlook cal/Google cal/droid
but even if I del the sync application
I still can not reach my gmail from outlook

Before the updates it was fine and even the sync that is not supposed to work (yet) on 64 bit was working fine

Any clue.

Did it.. days I was looking all over the place
I just found another setup guideline that not only works for my gmail, but allows on 64 bit full sync
G/Droid/Outlook cal

imap.gmail.com port 993 SSL
smtp.gmail.com port 465 and do not use TLS but SSL

Hope it could help someone pulling his/her hairs :)
