Hello. Whenever I click the mute button in Windows 7, after a few minutes, Windows un-mutes it. Does anyone else have this problem or know a solution?

Is this a factory install of Windows 7, or did you upgrade from something else?

This is most likely a driver issue. Do you have the latest drivers for your sound card?

Yes, I upgraded from vista.

Have you been to the sound card manufacturer's site, downloaded the latest drivers and installed them?
