According to a report, 97% of Java apps contain at least one vulnerability, and open source is only contributing to the problem as a result of unmanaged risks.

I wonder if there's a time bomb waiting to happen as more and more products become reliant on Java?

It's not clear in the article, but I'm guessing that they're referring to the browser Java applet, and not the Java server.
