I'm a new member of this forum and looking for your kind help on this very urgent issue.

There's a web site where people book appointment for visa interview through a 2-page web form.

This appointment-page opens at 8 am in the morning everyday, remains open for around 10 minutes ONLY and then goes down for the whole day. Hence, thousands & thousands of people, who need that appointment, stumble onto that page everyday and fights over it.

I need this appointment pretty badly and I've been trying for last one week to get that appointment thing done by beating all the other traffic. However, I couldn't even open the first page. It either shows error page or a page containing message that server might be down for too heavy traffic etc. I kept on trying and trying everyday with no luck. It's really getting into my nerve.

Anyways, I'm wondering if there's any way possible to beat this huge traffic. Any way! For your kind information, this page is built with JSP.

Please... Please help me out..

I'm wondering if there's any way possible to beat this huge traffic.

"Use the telephone" is the answer that comes to mind. Equip yourself with a thick book and make sure all your bodily needs have been taken care of, because something tells me you are going to be on hold for a long time.

Punch line: The web page was built in order to save people time and avoid waiting. :)

Come to think of it, constraining visas to people who have access to a computer at 8AM-- before your average library or internet café opens-- is pretty fiendishly clever. Maybe they could build a helipad atop the visa office to further expedite applications.

Hi Lucy.
Thanks for your prompt reply.

And, no. Only way to get an appointment for this visa service is through that web form.

Now, I have to figure out how to load this java page faster on my browser and submit the form before all the other people do.

There must be some tool or some kind of tweaking there to solve this issue and, I hope, someone from this forum will come up with it soon to rescue me... Crossed my heart!
