Duplicate Content Issue

I was shocked to see another website with similar content and that was built by the same person. After working for 3 months I found this from his database. Actually it was my mistake that I did not ask or check for duplicity of his website.

Now I want to remove that website.

Can you guys guide me to remove the same?

I believe that will solve my 50-60% effort.

He's got 2 similar websites and I am working for one of them. So I would like to remove one from the 2.
