Does any organization provide independent monitoring and data for website uptime statistics. An internet-wide average would be great. I dont find anything by searching Google other than what hosting companies advertise. I would like to know what "real" uptime data shows. I am thinging there must be some government agency or university or other non-commercial, relatively objective source of such data.
