How to stream live event on my Website?

Hello All,

I was wondering if anybody out there who knows how to stream live event / Video feed from a webcam or desktop screee.
I have installed Windows Media Encoder 9 Series which is working fine and recording all videos but I am not getting how to display the same on my website, can anyone please help me out with this?
I am getting (http://127.0.0.1:50697/) this url for internet connection
Can anyone please explain me the steps with which I can display the live events on my website?
