Hi there,

I am looking for a web monitoring service (I am a personal user, no deep pocket. So that one cannot be too expensive). Other than traditional access time monitoring (ping, port monitoring, etc), what I do need is application monitoring (shall I call it "simulates defined web transactions" or "monitor form submission" ?) like:

Test the speed to post a blog entry
Test the speed to post a forum thread
Test the speed to select a product, put it into shopping cart, and then checkout (no payment is involved)

... ...

All of these require the monitoring bot to login as a site user first.

The other essential feature I need is that it must provide CSV report (or other format that I can easily convert) in a manner that I can download automatically (ie, ftp to their server to download, a link to download, etc). This feature is required is because I am going to set up a cron job to use my program to analyze the (daily) report and save it to my database.

I did a quick google search and there are too many candidate to choose.
Could you please share your experience and give me some suggestion?

Thank you,
