Remote mail management

I'm interested in providing an email account interface to a CPanel user. The idea is to avoid forcing the user to wade thru CPanel itself, while being able to set up and administer email accounts.

The idea is the the end user (site administrator) will not always be inclined to be tech savvy, and frankly, I don't think the person should have all the CPanel access. So my idea is to provide a single web page that allows the email administration.

Is there such a product available now? If not, can anyone propose a good starting point? I'm in the early phase of thinking this through - but I thought I might sound it out here.

Hmmm, checked with some php script sources. Seems like I'm not the first person looking for this sort of thing. Time to check some script source and make this puppy rock.
