There is but one older thread discussing WAP compatible website and application builds here in the forums dated 2003 ( [webmasterworld.com...] ), and although the posted replies were informative (for the times), now that WiFi, Wireless Apps and SaaS is becoming more and more prevalent and available to a wider group of web builders and publishers, I thought it might be helpful to offer a single-source of WAP software titles that are easily implementable for various User skill levels.

A good example of how WAP builds are becoming more important is how for Realtors especially, the once MLS-WAP scripts which once dominated the band have given way to streaming directories (not just mega-corporate anymore), online communities, mash-ups, and even multi-user interfacing.

Look to see more and more WAP website abilities being supported by default by the cell phone manufacturers and distributors themselves as they all scramble to get the crumbs that fall from the cellular advertising/marketing pie that Google, Microsoft, and others are carving up even now.......
