Undeliverable Email Spam

I'm getting literally 800 undeliverable email messages every 10 minutes for one of my email addresses. Is it possible someone is spamming using my email address as the from address and now I'm getting all the bounce messages?

If so, is there a way to stop it from happening?

Yup.

Find the culprit and use a tactical nuclear strike.

Barring that, there's not a whole lot you can do to stop the messages from being sent out in the first palce. You can tweak your mail server or client filters so the bounced messages don't go to your inbox. But be careful that you don't also filter out valid bounced messages.

FYI, this is called a "Joe Job" and you can find many resources about it with that search. Not a whole lot you can do as they largely come from compromised IP's.
