Is it possible to convert PDF files to full HTML?

Is there a good utility that can convert PDFs to HTML?

I need to convert a PDF file to HTML in UNIX on the fly.

I know there is pdftohtml utility but that's not it. All it does it uses DIVs and doesn't create tables or keep the table shading.

I need table shading!

I'm even willing to pay a couple of hundred bucks for licensing but I need a good converter. Any ideas?

The Google HTML cache of PDF files is often awful to read. If Google can't come up with a good solution, I would't look further. It's a waste of time.

Furthermore, you apperently don't have the original documents that were used to create the PDFs, otherwise you would have used them to create HTML. You should keep in mind that most PDFs floating around the web contain copyrighted material and that many creators won't approve disassembly of their documents.
