The best update for WordPress ever was the update in their policy to not create a new version every few months and abandon the previous ones, but to continue support for their 2.0 branch for a minimum period of 5 years. I guess I will let other people upgrade to the 2.5 series, I personally will wait for the 2.0.12 which will be released soon :)
