Hi all,

I’m having problems with the 301 permanent redirections. I’ve tried the .htaccess file but it doesn’t seem to be working. I’ve been corresponding back and forth with our provider and they say the best way to do this using their servers is with ASP. Of course I can get this working with .ASP files but am having troubles activating this ASP code within our .HTML files.

Does anyone has any suggestions for using ASP code inside HTML files?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Janaki

What type of server do you have? Sounds like Windows if they're suggesting ASP solutions. Are you using IIS or Apache?

Normally on a Windows IIS server you use the .asp extension on your files to have the ASP parsed properly.
