A South Korean web hosting firm has said it paid $1 million over Erebus ransomware, which has a Windows and Linux variant.
Most people don't say they've paid, but in this instance it's believed because it was a South Korean company and the country's regulatory structure requires disclosure.
They are believed to have encrypted data on 153 Linux servers and 3,400 customer websites.
