site search, broken or just weak algorithim?

not finding anything on simple searches

I just discovered something interesting about the site search and I am wondering if I am doing something wrong.

I wanted to find all articles mentioning ExpiresByType

So I tried local site search [searchengineworld.com] found nothing, tried with case, and then all lower case, both zilch

then I tried searching with google [google.com] and it found two previous posts

Is it me misunderstanding something? Or perhaps a weak algorithim?

I have it set to index up to 201k of the page. Those hits matched beyond that limit.
