What are the guys with the throwing stars?

On some people's posts but not others

I've noticed that some member's posts are throwing a chinese throwing star at me and some aren't. Is this something significant?

Did a search of the WebmasterWorldrld community center and didnt see anything about it.

Just curious..thanks..

BTW. I notice mine aren't ..which is good since I woudln't want to do that to myself! :)

Are you talking about senior members user profile icon that have a star by the little man? If so when you reach a certian post count you recieve different levels like preferred member and junior member. Senior members get the star.

Like yours and jackofalltrades doesn't, but mine and DaveAtIFG does?

Ahh, so it is a post status thing that allows you to throw stars at newbies, cool. :)
