Is it me, or do posts NO longer appear on Active Posts, once they have been moved by a Moderator?

I just got a tiny bit exhausted trying to follow a thread. Wonder if we're talkin about the same story?

Certain posts will be removed from the active list for many reasons. Usually you can still find them if you visit the main forum index that post was in.

Also sometimes when a post is moved it drops off of active until another post is made in the thread. Usually if a post is on the move I try to wait until after it's moved to respond.

Just wondering what those reasons might be, since one of the threads I started is no longer in the active posts list.

Do you get notified when a thread is removed?

Various reasons (all top secret ;-). The active list is the most heavily hit page on the site (20k yesterday).

And just for fun - I took this one off ;)

I have not seen that since the upgrade this summer Jatar.
