I guess the problem is that Brett uses Opera, where the ALT tag doesn't show (at least for me) :).

Don't know, in terms of SEO this looks like keyword repetition to me. And probably not a phrase that gets searched for very often I guess ;).

Well, I use Opera myself and that's why I noticed it. ;) I use "Show cached images only" and my image cache is rather small.
