I just noticed the "unanswered messages" link. Is this new or have I been asleep for to long?

Great feature though. I think it will help a lot of people get the right answers because threads are less likely to be overlooked.

New, and we had a bit of fun with it:

Is there a difference between "Unanswered messages" and sorting the active post list by message count (which has been available for a long time and which paynt urged members to use regularly to answer unanswered posts)? Or is it just a more explicit way to achieve the same effect?

Alright. Now I feel totally stupid. I can't find these "unanswered messages" anywhere. :o

Sorry NFFC - still don't see it. Nothing here, there, or anywhere that I've seen with the words "unanswered messages". Could you be a bit more specific?

Thanks Andreas - now I see it!

How would I normally get to that page other than you providing me the link or is this a prototype yet to be released?

Lorax, did you really spend all that time here without using the recent posts page? :) I don´t use anthing but this page. It is the most convenient way to browse WW.

Wow, that must have been hard going through each forum separately.

You should have read paynt´s welcome message [webmasterworld.com] :):

A hugely popular link, especially among the senior members and those of us that pop in every few minutes or so is the recent posts [webmasterworld.com] link also found at the top of your screen. It’s probably safe to say that’s one of the most addictive things about Webmaster World. There are some neat little tricks to it as well. If you click on the MSGs link it will regroup the results. Moderators and senior members like this to find orphan posts (ones where the poster didn’t receive a response yet). If you have some extra time and want to help out check that out and jump in.

Back to the unanswered subject: Is it me or is the date range changing all the time? Yesterday there were only threads back a couple of months, now I see threads dating back to last year (but only for the forum about website technology issues).

And I can't believe anyone could survive more then 2 days without the recent posts link :).
