SE world and Webmaster world seperate?

is there a way of seperating the two in 'recent posts'?

My site is aimed at a very local audience made up mainly of members of the organisation. Search Engines to me have very little relevance really. I've done very basic SEO but I'm not too fussed as to when Google is updating or whatever.

On the other hand I'm sure there are many people here who work purley as SEOs who may not be bothered about more general webmaster issues (such as programming langagues, CSS etc)..

and there are of course many people who want to know both.

My question/suggestion is giving a user the option of getting posts from the SE world and/OR webmaster world appearing in the 'recent posts' section. This would mean that people wouldn't have to go through pages of posts that may have no relevence to them..
