Hi

I just noticed something today.

I checked a members profile page to find the email address was admin@(my sites top site refer - IP address) - which as you can imagine is quite a coincidence seeing my site isnt on my profile anymore!

And that I always assumed that particullar IP address was my own (making me top site on my stats due to the amount of updating i do to my site).

I refreshed the profile to reveal another (different) email contact.

And another.

And another.

And yet another (and one of these times the address was <random word>@webmasterworld).

Am I going mad, or has anyone else noticed this?

It's a bit of scripting strangeness Brett devised to prevent email spiders from spamming forum members to death... you're not mad, don't worry. ;)

looks pretty much like it is there to confuse email harvesters doesn't it. ;)

Which is exactly what it is.
