Some of you may remember me, i'm the one who was all worried about my star trek site last year...

Well, i read through everything to do with submissions and stuff and i got the toolbar...

ALL of the pages listed in google now have a page rank of 5, thats even the 2 or 3 deep ones. Now i'm getting about 3/4ths of my hits from search engines with google coming out on top.

Theres still some things i still have to do like image alt tags but im taking care of them just now. If it wasnt for the help from this place then the old STCD II would still have been waaayyyyy down the list, now when a search related to my site coverage (star trek online game clans and downloads) my site usually pops up in the first page, and usually in the top 5 to 7 :)

If anyone can suggest anything else that i aint seen here then please tell me what it is :)

Congratulations Katie, and thanks for letting us know. Just keep reading and studying, there's always more to learn. And also, people just starting out who you might be able to help, too.

Ohh yeah, nothing else i can do now. I tried to leave the editorial position but i keep getting emails and stuff, so i have no choice to to 'keep at it'.

Being ranked so high in search engines is a good thing, but it also means that the traffic increases exponentially (from just under 300 to over 2000 visits a day) so now the updates are becoming more and more frequent...along with the running costs :-/

Ahh well...
