Thanks. It is kinda handy. Sure gets people to look at your profile more - which means your message contributions to the site mean more than ever.

We tend to think that the really good business tips are super intelligent bits of information reserved to some unknown elite few. I've found that it is really just the opposite. Those really good bits that work in the real world, are the subtle ones we just over look. It's not a needle in a haystack or a diamond in the rough thing; but rather it is a simple can't see the forest for the trees thing.

Here is one of those tid bits for programmers that do software on the web:
Always focus on the user. Sounds simple doesn't it?

It is easy to get caught up writing features and widgets that are designed for the operator of the system and not for the user of the system.

I've seen that syndrome with every major bbs system the last 20 years. They get caught up writing stuff to wow webmasters/sysops. I'm seeing that trend continue with the major forum packages on the web.

If you go the other way, and focus on the user like a mantra, you will always be more successful. Put the energies in to features designed to be used, not hidden.
