The local mail system will be under going conversion this weekend. All back StickyMail will be lost.

You may use the "forward" option, to forward the mail to your profile address:
- Just check all messages (with the checkbox at left)
- and then select "forward" and
- click the submit confirm button.

After that, delete the messages to the trashcan and select "empty trashcan".

Yes, flags are an easy convert. No problem.

The stickymail format is a lock stock new system.

I thought I would let everyone here know that if you empty your stickymail (if it is really full like mine was), the system works alot faster.

I agree with agerhart, after it gets to about 10 I try to delete them. Do not want to be hogging more than my fair share of WMW space :)

wow i'm noticing a speed improvement as well! I hadn't seen the forward option before. I'll be using it in the future, now.

Dumb question, but why is it faster???

It parses your messages on every page view... (this is the main reason for the switch).

When I started this, I never envisioned people having half meg - meg size message boxes. I thought 10-20k here or there would be it.

Opps, just forwarded them all as individual e-mails and found I received 18 empty e-mails!

Do not use the automatic deletion option!

Fortunatly the loss of my words is not heart breaking :0

Shane - I forwarded to my Hotmail account earlier today, then just checked to make sure they arrived - didn't check to make sure there was anything in them. Until I read your post. Whoops! Messages are empty.

If anyone desperatly needs their old stickymail that was deleted sunday, let me know (via stickymail of course).

I can send you the flat file. It's one message per line, and then you can split it apart in a simple text editor on the pipe characters.
