Maybe there was something there:
[webmasterworld.com...]

By the way, this one is my fault.

You're not seeing this? Am I being targeted?

Added: Now I'm not seeing it here either. Maybe it depends on the forum. Maybe I've gone mad.

That message would appear on the interstitial page whenever I post a reply.

Added #2: Maybe it's only when I edit a post... I do edit myself quite a bit.

Going mad is not necessary to be a member here, but sometimes it can make life easier :) Maybe Brett is doing some A/B testing with different layouts for different members?

Reads like a pre-requisite for serving any Google JS. FWIW, haven't seen it.

Not much of an elephant then.

Have you tried editing your post?

Maybe I've gone mad.
My first thought was that it's personalized advertising (in which case we now know a little about the people using your computer) ... but does WebmasterWorld even have ads in that position? On other sites I've sometimes glanced to the right while posting, and found some hilariously apposite ad.

I have not seen that with any edits. Not yet anyway.

OK, I saw it with that edit. peculiar..

Are you seeing something different? Looks to me like some sort of test message left behind while coding. All it says [imgur.com] is:

Welcome to the club.

Some threads are on, or have been on the home page, and there's an image associated with many of them. The home page image may no longer be available..

OK, but why does this text appear on the "Message accepted" page after an edit? It looks hard-coded, like a forgotten echo after debugging.

<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="1" border="0" width="85%"><tbody><tr><td bgcolor="#e8e8f4"><center>this is im: /home/webmasterworld/public_html/temp/FeaturedImages/forum19/5025510.png <table cellspacing="1" cellpadding="10" border="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td>
&nbsp;<p>Message accepted, autorefreshing to <a href="/webmasterworld/5025326.htm#msg5025510">the new thread</a>.
</p></td></tr></tbody></table></center></td></tr></tbody></table>

(Maybe I should've explained it like this from the start.)

LOL

Quite possible. There are a few of those on the system which are harmless, and probably go unnoticed.
No, that is not a challenge to find them. lol

Gotta catch 'em all!
Said to be the world’s oldest riddle:

“We carried away all that we did not catch, and all that we caught we left behind.”
