I've been thinking a bit about what WebmasterWorld has done for me and the seo industry.
How many web pages are you still looking at after 20 years and still learning things, probably not that many.
I have made friends around the world with whom I have good contact.
It's been great to be able to create a branch from the beginning and still be part of it.
I remember the first conference in London, the first time you met everyone you had contact with,
it was strange to meet everyone you looked up to, you were nervous about a lot of things especially the language it is harder to talk to a man in reality in a foreign language other than writing. A fun memory was when I and a friend were going to eat at the hotel, I looked at the menu and saw it was lamb I didn't know what it meant so I asked what lamb means, then she answered Bللللل then my friend Brendon said he is from Sweden and not stupid
Everyone had great respect for each other with the language which I think was very much appreciated.
A lot of what I learned in seo is from WebmasterWorld and all the threads there as well as all the tests and nights you sat up waiting for googledance.
Brett and all moderators have done a fantastic job of having a functioning forum,
new forums came up but they usually disappeared quickly. After 20 years as a member of WebmasterWorld I am as impressed as before.
I sat and searched old threads and read a lot from us in Europe, there were many ways to drive traffic then,
there was different knowledge on the different search engines in the European countries which made us experts in the different areas.
Big thanks to all of you during this trip which has been great fun in every way.
