Hi.

I have tried to post a problem I have with coding but I keep getting the message:
error : You have an error with one or more of your Style Code tags: 2.

I don't see any errors and I have checked [webmasterworld.com...] to look for what I did wrong.

Could someone show me how to send a message on here that has code in it?

Thanks.

Hi WilliamGatesman and welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

To post code you can surround the code with these code tags: [ code ] and [ /code ] - but I needed to space the brackets for them to print as text. Remove the spaces and that can enclose your code.

OR you can use the Preview button below the textarea for your post and have access to the formatting tools. You can find more tips on how the forums work at that Welcome link above.

Recommendation: Always Preview a post before you Submit. If there are problems, they will show up in bright red. (I know this because just minutes ago I had [ small ] by mistake for [/ small ] and the site code screamed at me.)

No errors are being highlighted but it does say there is an error.

I did the tags [ code ] and [ /code ] with spaces inside them as suggested but the post still won't publish.

Is there a way to post a screen shot instead of the code?

There should be NO spaces within the brackets. The spaces were added so you could see the tags to use but I added spaces within the brackets to make it readable.

 [code] remove the spaces
