It seems the server's clock is slow by five minutes.

Edit: Dang, you're right. Timestamp on my post is 5 minutes earlier than the time on my computer ... and I don't think WebmasterWorld's server is in one of those weird time zones that's 5 minutes away from everyone else.
I think its only four minutes now .... seems its catching up

[Time] is catching up
Ain't that the truth.

I think it’s only four minutes now
Then again, maybe the offset was 4:59 all along, and this time you happened to land on just ... the ... right ... second.
Edit after posting: If so, I too hit just-the-right-second.
Gosh. This is more fun than watching grass grow, and almost as much fun as watching paint dry. And definitely more fun than proofreading {title I am currently procrastinating on}.

Dang, it's back to five minutes. I guess it was probably 4½ all along.
I remember one time my server's clock was off by quite a few minutes. It was awfully disorienting because I'd do stuff on my test site, pull up the logs, search for a specific action with some exact timestamp ... and there was nothing there. (And that's why you need a test site. If you can't find it at 10:36, it will be two lines down at 10:48.)

I am impressed how much time has been spent on the topic. :)

That may account for the missing 5 minutes.
