When you go to edit an old post:

Allowable time to edit post has passed.

All you need to do is select the Msg#: drop down and report the message, and say what the correction should be. A member of the team will get to it to make the edit on your behalf.

Oh wow, that's pretty funny!

OK, I'll explain myself better :)

Whenever you go to edit an old message, you get an error message: "Allowable time to edit has past"

"past" should be "passed"

I wasn't talking about an error in my old message but in the system message that you get on WebmasterWorld...it must have been left like that for years.

Techies are typically poor spellers.

Techies are not users. Techies already know what its supposed to be and we get very unhappy the rest of the world are not mind readers. Its all their fault!

I wasn't talking about an error in my old message but in the system message that you get on WebmasterWorld.

Next week, we’ll work on teaching the Powers That Be how to spell “refer[r]er”.
