Um what happened to the Jan 2016 google SERP update thread - all deleted ?

I've seen things like this happen over the last few years, never very long. I suspect that behind the scenes updates/indexing/housecleaning is responsible. A little patience and voila! the item(s) return in all glory. :)
I see this happen more often in the "busy posting:" threads than anything else.
