User "post" count not increasing?

Since Oct 30, 2015 or thereabouts. (?)

It seems that user's "post count" has stopped increasing as posts are made?

I initially noticed this on the following thread, where the user "RockSquirrel" (new user) has posted 6 times in that thread, but their post count is stuck on "3"? Their 3rd post being at "1:25 am on Oct 30, 2015 (gmt 0)", so I assume it was sometime after that that things stopped working?

I've watched my own post count over the last 3 or 4 posts and it has not increased.

EDIT: However, in starting this thread my post count has increased by one!?

Hmm, posts not supposed to count in Community - or Foo for that matter. Should count in other forums.

There are six posts by Rock Squirrel in a "numbered" forum. I knew Foo was no count... Didn't know about Community being a no count as well. Thanks for the heads up! (Not looking to up my count...... check my posting profile.... at least 30% are in Foo.)

(edit: Community does advance the post count)

Sorry; amazing what you believe to be true that isn't.

Since starting this thread (possibly just a coincidence), my post count does appear to be increasing.

Hhhmmm, my last few posts (in the PHP, Apache and Google SEO forums) have all reported the same "117 posts"?!

EDIT: And, as if by magic, when posting in this thread my post count has increased by 1 to 118! Something not quite right somewhere?!

It's all bean-counter stuff. Too big means shut up. Too small means speak up. Or something like that. :)

Because it's a bug.

Incidentally, I've just posted in the PHP forum again and my post count remained on 118

Just noticed that jeking's post count has not increased in the following thread, despite having posted 3 times. Easy to spot, since their total post count is still on 1 (despite joining in Oct 2014)?!
