Do we have a hall of memories for WW folks passed?

This community has been enriched by so many we have lost over the years.

The new folks joining now, or in the last year or two, have no idea of the giants of this community. I was wondering if we have a memorial area for these folks who have given so much of their time, knowledge, good cheer, and general commonsense.

The list is not short (I've been here since 2005) and some of my giants have been (I'm keeping my list short, see below)

If we don't have one, then let us make this thread that hall of memory. These folks, day by day, some as they were dying by inches and posting from hospital beds nearly to the last minute, served this community with good heart and extreme charity of their time and knowledge, some technical, some commmonsense, marketing, sales, production, coding, hardware, and all from the heart.

Who would YOU add to this sterling list? There's nothing morbid here, this is honoring those who came before and left such a valuable legacy that continues to educate, provide insights, and at times the joy of amusement and good fellowship.

One of those odd coincidences... but I note that Dana Lookadoo has also passed.

And, please, if you name a name and have the desire, add a comment as well.

We remember because they were special.

I'm on one forum where, when someone dies, the administrators manually change their rank to Beloved Emeritus (or -a as the case may be).

This is a great idea. I might suggest to even memorialize it further with a list of IDs, linking to their profile/post list. Takes extra work but would be pretty classy for this institution.

JDMorgan? He had some health issues and took a leave from WebmasterWorld a few years ago. If anyone has been in contact with him or his family, please let us know.

Aaron Shear - a long time member of WebmasterWorld passed away this last week. Aaron was also a long time moderator of sessions at Pubcon. He was a SEO player for eBay, Zappos, and several other tech giants. He was a super Pnice guy - low key - and never fussed about much - had an awesome set of 911 Porsche's. He single handily introduced more people to Pubcon than just about anyone I know. He would regularly bring a dozen or so people from eBay. He had a knack for managing huge sites.

We will miss him.
