Remove/Delete profile

Hello, I can't find an option to delete my webmaster world profile. Is it possibile to completely remove and delete a profile?

I did not want to delete everything, I just want to delete my profile

All your posts will still be indexed by search engines and will still have your username on them.

What difference would it make to delete the profile?

Everybody has different views about privacy. Even if something isn't publicly viewable, some would prefer it isn't *there*.

What if the database was comprimised, and everybody's email addresses were released? what if people don't want this information exposed? (hypothetical example)

It wouldn't bother me personally, but for others...

Oftentimes new members do not comply with the TOS and will sign up with a brand or website name. That seems like a good thing to do until WW places higher in the serps than a member's own website.

imofloripa, I'm not sure if the admins will agree with this, but a possible solution - in addition to removing all your profile information - is to just have your username changed at database level, so you no longer show up as 'imofloripa' but via another non-recognizable username of your choice.

Nobody should be able to identify you under a different username.
