WebmasterWorld.com Acquired by Internet Marketing Ninjas

I am excited and pleased to announce that WebmasterWorld.com has been acquired by Internet Marketing Ninjas. What's it mean:

- I will remain on as an Administrator indefinitely.
- Neil Marshall will remain on as lead site administrator indefinitely.
- Our - now former - legal owner "Webmasterworld Inc." has changed names to Pubcon Inc.
- This does not effect the Pubcon conference series. I will remain CEO of Pubcon Inc. and will continue to thrive.
- Good things on the horizon from IMN (aka: Jim Boykin and formerly We Build Pages.
- Moderators and admins, can now edit me without fear ;-) lol

I think this is an outstanding fit for Webmasteworld. IMN brings resources to WebmasterWorld that will help keep the community strong for many years to come. Anyone who knows Jim Boykin (Founder IMN) knows, that he values this community as much as I do. I expect good things out of IMN to come.

Thank you so much for your support of the site. I would ask that you continue to do so onward into an exciting future.

Having been part of Webmasterworld since 2002, I am really excited about this acquisition. I met Brett and most of the original team of moderators ten years ago this week. What a privilege! This community became my family and every significant thing I've learned about webmastering, seo, sem, internet marketing, usability and social media originated from the Webmasterworld community.

I am delighted that Jim Boykin is the new owner of the Webmasterworld community. He is a long-time member of the forums and he has been attending Pubcon for years. Many people here at Webmasterworld know him; many have sent business his way because his work at Internet Marketing Ninjas speaks for itself. And I've gotten to know him and I think he's a pretty nice guy. I think he's going to take great care of this community - you really couldn't ask for a better guy to take the reins.

I look forward to watching all of the amazing things he's going to do with and for this community.

(oh, come on, I only fixed a little typo in Brett's post ... cut the wife a break!) hehe

Brett & Jim Congratulations. Some surely exciting news here! Oh and a greatful thank you to Tedster and great great thanks to Martinibuster, PageOneResults, Brinked, and all the other major contributors in the SEO forums (not just the Google SEO forum) I am passioned with for about 9-10 years now.

Thank you for the invaluable information, help and your contributions guys. Hope for even better things to come!

Amazing, Jim is one of the few I would call "the right choice" to keep the community alive. He actually helped me a few times since I joined and he is always a great guy to talk to on Pubcon. VERY NICE!
