IIRC, WebmasterWorld used to be the SEW forums, before splitting off to be an entity in its own right.

WebmasterWorld used to be brett tabke, now it's a company (doubtless owned by brett!)

it's been WebmasterWorld since i've known it, which is back to 1999.

searchengineworld was also owned by brett and could be under the umbrella of WebmasterWorld inc now, btw the about link on searchengineworld is a 404! :)
