Most times I work from the Recent Posts link... makes it easier to keep up with current interests... but from time to time (about once a week) I hit the Open Posts as it is not nice to leave a post unanswered, particularly for newbies. I do pick and choose which ones I respond to, of course!
My discovery? Click Open Posts. Change message number displayed to 100. Then click Open Posts again. You'll get a list in ascending order by message/reply count from 1 to whatever. :)
How useful this will be I cannot say. It just works that way.
