Hello all,

Just a quick introduction...

I am from sunny South Africa, based in Cape Town. I have been in the online marketing game for about 4 years or so, and am currently the pay per click manager at an agency based in Cape Town.

For those of you who dont know much about South Africa, we do indeed have internet access that we access through electricity and not generators. We dont live in huts, we dont pay elephant tax and dont have to walk through a desert to get to work. Just in case there were any misconceptions.

If you are wondering about my user name, I took it from the original Tim Burton Batman movie.

So hello all, I look forward to chatting and sharing info and ideas!

One person doesn't make it a rule. By the way, do you have to get permission from the chief of your tribe to go online or how does it work? :) ;)

Welcome.

Welcome from the too sunny (and without sharks!) Spain.
We all here in Spain have good memories from South Africa, not for the lions, the elefants and so on but for the football.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Indeed sunny in Cape Town at the moment, even through it is winter and its been quite wet lately.

Regarding some comments posted:
-Indeed there are elephants in South Africa. When on safari in Africa elephants are popular attractions.
-The chief gave me permission to summon the gods of old and ask them to grant me the power that will allow me to access to the interwebs! I dont know why they gave me the power to come here and not to a good #*$! site, but hey, its the gods will.
-The soccer world cup was great. I didnt think SA had it in them to pull it off, but we did a pretty good job if I do say so myself!
