Hi everyone -- I found this forum several weeks ago after ongoing discussion on my shopping cart's forum about possible causes for the bottom falling out of sales over the past month or two. Although my background is primarily administrative, I've always had some pretty strong technical skills (just enough to be dangerous!). I started my ecommerce site in 2004 and was able to quit my full-time job several months later, and have been running my small business ever since. I've had some nice successes, but also made more than my share of mistakes!
At any rate, I find I'm drawn to this forum more and more as I try to get a handle on SEO for my site. I'm thinking of subscribing, but at this point I feel a bit intimidated and don't know that I'll have much of value to offer the great minds here... anyone care to convince me I should do it? It won't take much! I feel that if I'm visiting the forum frequently that I should contribute to it's running, so maybe I just answered my own question.
